We procure the best parts available and continuously train to make sure the job is done right the first time. This policy has allowed us to grow to the successful business that it is today. In addition to providing service to the motoring public, we also service Fleet and Commercial accounts.
We service most makes and models of vehicles and provide all repair and maintenance services needed for today’s modern automotive repair customers.

Family Owned & Operated Since 1962
Mount Vernon Auto Repair offers exceptional automotive service and repair to the community of Skagit County. It’s a family-owned and operated business that provides service for cars, trucks, motorhomes, agricultural equipment, and specialized vehicles.
Founded as Mount Vernon Towing in 1962 by his father, Les Faber, current owner Doug Faber has expanded the business during his tenure to include full-service auto repair as well as operating the county’s premier 24/7 towing service with 12 trucks.
Located on a 1.5-acre site adjacent to I-5, Mount Vernon Auto Repair is housed in a 9,250-square-foot service center designed to service both small and large vehicles.
Our staff of professionals – from our service advisors to our highly trained technicians – provide high-quality service and repairs. Whether you are a customer with one vehicle, or a business with a fleet of trucks, our goal is to make your service experience a pleasant one.
From preventive maintenance service to transmission repair, electrical service to tractor repair, Mount Vernon Auto Repair will exceed your rservice expectations. Nothing is too big or too small for our experienced staff!
